Specialty Cookbooks come in many sizes and shapes. How do you pick one to buy? If you would like a specialty cookbook and feel good about helping people in need? This is the cookbook for you. Raven’s Cookbook is a cookbook by authors for charity.
What is Raven’s Cookbook and how did it come about?
Raven’s Cookbook was born as an idea for readers to get involved with my author brand. You might be asking who Raven is? Raven is the main character in my debut novel Into the Fire book 1 of The Fire Series. She’s a chef and writes her own cookbook in the novel.
It quickly turned into a way to connect with authors and do something wonderful at the same time. So we changed it to Raven’s Cookbook by Authors for Charity.
How can you get involved?
We allow authors to post recipes on our Discord server On the Wings for Writers through email sacrow@authorsacrow.com every month. At the end of the month we vote as a group on Discord. The winning recipe goes live on the website and will be entered into the cookbook at the end of the year.
The Rules:
Every recipe that is submitted must either be a recipe of your own creation, or a recipe that you have changed / "tweaked" in some way to make it your own.
PLEASE no stealing as we plan to publish these recipes into a cookbook to sell for charity.
All recipe and charity recommendations must be submitted to sacrow@authorsacrow.com or through our Discord Channel.
We will also take your suggestions for a food-related charity all year long. If you are a food-related charity, please give us as much information as possible and send it to sacrow@authorsacrow.com.
Everyone will be able to preorder the cookbook before it is available!
Who will this Cookbook benefit?
We choose to vote for Food related charities. This year the Discord voted for Feeding America You can find out more about them here.
All proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will go to Feeding America.
