How to celebrate Bookmas with me!

Bookmas, what is it and how do I celebrate it

Of course I can’t pronounce the name of the holiday, so here at home we call it Bookmas. We began celebrating a version of this holiday about 3 years ago and I wouldn’t change it. It has become my go to Winter holiday tradition. So on the 25th of December we don’t exchange gifts but we open gifts that were sent to us and thank those people with phone calls. We also call loved ones that aren’t close. Then we pick a book on our to be read list or that we are currently reading and with a little chocolate and a warm drink we read the day away. We laugh at good parts and cry at the sad parts. This is how we celebrate Bookmas.

Edits on The Fire Inside

I’m happy to announce that my editor has finished editing The Fire Inside book 2 of The Fire Series. I’m catching up to them and I’m happy to report that I’m 2 chapters away from that goal. My proof reader has already started checking out the early chapters and soon I will catch up with what they suggest. We are so close.
