Into the Fire is the 1st book in the Fire series and the theme of the series is how friends can be stronger than family. That being said the cast of this series and novel is extremely important. This novel introduces all the main members of this episodic series and the first couple that will take the “father/mother” role for the later couples. You know that couple that everyone goes to for advice, that’s Travis and Raven for this group of friends. Let’s start with the co-leads of the novel.
Raven Moore
She is a chef from Southern California who moved to Seattle for the growing food scene there and to get a better chance to be noticed. Lately, she is becoming dissatisfied with the track her career is taking, even though it’s going in the direction she planned. Her guilty pleasure is eating and finding little known diners. Her best friend Mallory is happy to meet up late at night after Raven’s shift to try these diners. After getting a job as a personal chef she starts to work on a cooking book manuscript.
Travis Short

What is going on with the publishing of Into the Fire?
Well as you can guess being an indie author can be a daunting task. I bought the ISBN’s this week and will be buying the plane tickets to visit my Grandmother to take her a signed copy of the novel and get her to sign my copy.
I have just a few more things to revise on the novel and then it is on to formatting. I am thinking about going with Ingram Spark for formatting and distribution.
Researching marketing and working on all the little tasks that go into publishing and launching a novel can be so overwhelming.
But I am happy to announce a merchandise site where you can show your love of the novel everyday. There is a current 20% off code product wide on the site. I hope you enjoy it and will share any purchases you make with me on social media.
I can’t wait to get this story out into the world and have you all enjoy it.
