My true love reviewed:
Carved in Ink
By Marissa Farrar
I only read this book in the series, I hope to add the others to my 2021 TBR list. This book lets you travel to London and a tattoo studio there owned by Art Fletcher who is in a pickle when he learns that the building that houses his tattoo studio is having an owner change and his cheap rent is going up, not only that the owner is coming to live in the apartment above his shop.
What his new landlord doesn’t know is that he has a heart of gold and does quite a bit of charity.
Tess moves from America when she inherits a building in London. A mix of cultures and Jane Austen type Pride and Prejudice happens between these two personalities right off the bat. Luckily they find that they can both heal each other’s wounds and find a way to make everything work out in the end. This is a stand-alone novel but connected characters for the rest of the series.
