What do I mean by writing workshops?
Authors and instructors put writing workshops on various topics that concern the art and act of writing or the business of being an author in today’s reading market. They can range from how to map out a plot to tackling social media. The cost of these workshops can range from free to hundreds of dollars. Buyer beware!

Why did I choose to offer writing workshops when I’m a full-time author and caregiver?
I’m a born teacher. I love helping people in any way that I can. One way that I can help is to share the tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way.
What have I learned so far?
Now for the meat of this post, what have I learned doing writing workshops?
I’ve learned that you are way harder on yourself than your students will be on you.
People like a worksheet or workbook to follow and refer to in the future.
Make things easy for the students and they will love you for it.
Advertise them and expect lower numbers, so you’re pleasantly surprised when you have more students than you expected.
It’s so rewarding to see a student have an ah-ha moment.
