I am currently plotting this 50k word novel for my Camp NaNoWriMo project in April. I will be aiming for 2,273 words a day minus Sundays and four possible pain days that I might have to take off. Living with chronic pain you make plans for being unable to get out of bed or function with anything resembling coherence.

Steve
Met Travis when they were both up for the same role in a low-budget movie. Couch surfing on each other’s couches until they both found their feet. Travis in film and Steve in freelance journalism. In this novel, Steve is working on an expose on human sex trafficking and its connections in Seattle, WA. At the same time, he’s being accused of sexual harassment of a fan of the band and others. Even though he is innocent the media is dragging him through the mud. Will this cost him the band and his career. In a cruel twist of fate, he started dating Raven’s best friend Mallory before everything went south.
Mallory
Met Raven when they ran into each other in a yoga class both sporting California t-shirts. These Cali girls clicked from the start. A corporate building and interior designer. Mallory just recently picked up a major contract to build a large office compound for a .com business. When Raven gets engaged to her boyfriend Travis. Fearing the rift that will form between her soon-to-be-married best friend and herself. It doesn’t help that Travis asks Mallory to help him plan the perfect wedding. After all, relationships don’t really last. She hopes that her best friends will be the exception to the rule she fears that it won’t. Her family has drummed into her head to never rely on a relationship to last. Simply have fun and move on when things get too serious.
Tony and Anna from book 2 of The Fire series are also back in Seattle and making a new life for themselves. I can’t wait to get back to writing all of these great characters. Sharing what is happening in their lives from one book to the next.
